Whether you want to entertain some clients or just enjoy the Bermuda Highland Games in style, you may be interested in our corporate hospitality tickets which are now on sale. Tickets cost $150 per adult, $25 for 10 to 16 year olds, $15 for under 10s and free for under 5s.
The ticket price includes all food, with complimentary wine and whisky on the table. The typical menu will be tea, scones, Scottish crumpets, finger sandwiches, Dundee cake, etc in the afternoon, then a buffet of Scotch eggs, crab quiche, Tweed Kettle (poached salmon), haggis neaps and tatties, beef, chicken, Forfar Bridies, Cranachan, Cream Crowdie, Queen Mary’s Tart, etc. And the leftovers later in the evening. Goslings will have a bar set up for the purchase of addition wines, whiskies, beers, Barritts soft drinks, etc.
It is shaping up to be a memorable and visually stunning occasion with lots of activity continuously in action on the field. The presence of our guest pipe band, the Atholl Highlanders, who are, uniquely, Europe’s only remaining legal private army makes this a particularly special event. The Captain of the Colour Guard of the Atholl Highlanders is Viscount Dupplin, whom you may know as Charles Dupplin, CEO of Hiscox Bermuda. The event will be formally attended our new Governor, Mr. George Fergusson. The Closing ceremony will feature the massed bands of the Atholl Highlanders, Bermuda Island Pipe band, the Bermuda regiment Band, Somerset Brigade Band and Sandys Drumline. Activities will include a highland dancing competition, piping performances, field races, 6.5km Highland Run, Tossing the Caber and a Tug of war competition and a selection of Scottish songs by the Bermuda Chamber Choir.
Ticket holders will be issued in advance with a package containing entry tickets, car park passes and programmes.
